1. INTRODUCTION
In this document, references to “Wet Technologies”, “we”, “our” or “us” refer to WET Technologies Pty Ltd (Registration number: 2015/049461/07), situated at 25 Crompton Street, Gants Plaza, Cape Town 7140.
We are committed to processing personal information lawfully, reasonably and transparently. We will only collect and process personal information that is necessary for a specific, explicitly defined and lawful purpose related to our business activities.

- Provide services to us as a supplier or contractor.
Where we collect personal information from a third party, we will take reasonable steps to inform you of the source of such information, unless an exception under POPIA applies.
We only collect personal information that is relevant and necessary for the purpose for which it is processed.
4. WHEN WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

Note: We limit collection to information necessary for each specific purpose.
7. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION
Third parties:
We may also share your data with governmental agencies and regulators (e.g. tax authorities), insurance carriers, courts, and government authorities.
We may further, in the course of business, transfer your personal information to other group companies and/or service providers as part of our normal business operations to carry out certain contract management, service delivery e.g., lawyers, accountants, auditors.
All group companies and service providers are contractually required to implement appropriate security measures and maintain confidentiality in accordance with POPIA or equivalent legislation.
Legal Disclosures:
We may need to share your information when we believe it is required by law, legal process or to help protect the rights and safety of you, us, or others. We attempt to notify members about legal demands for their data when appropriate in our judgment unless prohibited by law or court order or when the request is an emergency. We may dispute such demands when we believe, at our discretion, that the requests are overbroad, vague, or lack proper authority, but we do not promise to challenge every demand.
8. YOUR RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS
You have the right to:
- Request access to your personal information;
- Request correction or updating of inaccurate or incomplete information;
- Request deletion of personal information where legally permissible;
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest or for direct marketing purposes;
- Withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior lawful processing);
- Request restriction of processing in certain circumstances;
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.

9. RETENTION OF RECORDS
We retain personal information only for as long as:
- Necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected;

Once information is no longer required, it will be securely deleted or destroyed in accordance with applicable laws and our Data Retention Policy.

We may modify this privacy notice from time to time, as required by changes in legislation. You acknowledge that your continued use of our services after we publish our changes to this privacy notice means that the collection, use, and sharing of your personal information is subject to the updated privacy notice.

Access to personal information is limited to authorised individuals on a need-to-know basis.

Monitoring and Surveillance
CCTV footage is processed for security and crime prevention purposes in accordance with our Monitoring and Surveillance Policy.
